Suggested needle size is 4.5mm to a tension of 21sts x 28 rows = 10cm so it's about a DK (I've seen it used as a DK and it works just fine) or worsted, but..... it also knits up well on 6mm to make an airy chunky or even 10mm as in the Kleinia dress pattern! Beautiful Claire in the red is wearing a top that was knitted to standard DK tension on 4mm needles. A very versatile as well as very attractive yarn.
