Yarnstravaganza!
It seems I've forgotten to post here about Yarnstravaganza, a week-long festival (nationwide!) of all things yarn shop. We have lots going on in the Snuff Street shop, do come along and see. You can find all of the details on our Facebook page but briefly you are still in time for the following:
Thursday 5th October - Florrie & Jean pop-up shop. Florrie stitches gorgeous fabric goods, from make-up pads to project bags, purses to bookmarks.
Friday 6th October - our launch of the gorgeous new aran yarn from West Yorkshire Spinners in the colourway Future Dreams, with £1 from each sale going to charity. We are hosting a Pimms & Needles and invite you to bring a chair and sit outside in the autumn sunshine to make a flower for the charity. Cost £7 which includes the yarn, a small goody bag and lots of fun.
Saturday 7th October - demonstration by local spinning club the Spinstars with an opportunity for you to have a go with a drop spindle. There's a charity yarny tombola.
All week we have a charity raffle, goody bags for spends of £20 and over and "Pot Luck Patterns" - five patterns for the price of one in a "lucky-dip" style.
