A super and easy crochet bag, inspired by my friend Ellis who lives near Pocklington in Yorkshire. He learned to crochet after sitting behind two ladies on the bus, who were making the most of their journey by hooking the time away. A quick lesson from them and he was away! This design is based on the bags he's been making for friends and family ever since, with the addition of the felting process for interest and durability.
Suitable for improving beginners, you need to be able to work chains, double crochet, treble crochet and double-trebles if you add the flower embellishment.
The bag is worked in one piece and then felted in the washing machine. Full instructions are included (they are very easy) and pattern support will of course be provided should you need it.
As well as the pattern, you will also need a 4.5mm hook, 2 x 100g balls West Yorkshire Spinners Re:Treat or other non-superwash pure wool chunky. We have loads in stock in the shop in Devizes (Pins & Needles on Snuff Street).

Approximate finished size: 25x18cm but ultimately it will depend on the felting process.
