The moment I first saw this yarn I knew I wanted to make this hat with it. Nice chunky cables add warmth as well as texture.
Each hat takes about 130m; there's plenty (190m) on each 100g ball if you want to add a pompom, or add a fake-fur pompom as shown on the pattern (I have some in stock, contact me if you'd like one, they are £2.70 each and come in a range of colours). The pattern is sized to fit from children to adults.
You will also need a pair of 6mm knitting needles and a cable needle - I have some in stock but not listed here so do let me know if you need these).
Oh, one of the pictures shows Wonderland with a ball of King Cole Tinsel in a complementary colour - this can be used to knit at pompom (don't try to make a traditional pompom with it, it will just fall to bits!), I'm very happy to supply the simple pattern with a ball of the Tinsel which is £2.95 per ball. Again, do please send a message with your requirements.
The yarn is Stylecraft's Wonderland Chunky, a standard chunky that has a bit of quite subtle glitter in amongst it's festive colours. It's 100% premium acrylic, can be machine-washed at 30 degrees and can even go in a cool tumble-dry. Please note - "Sleigh Ride" has a bit more green in it than shown in the photo. The sample made up for the photo and pattern is in "Rocking Robyn."
Each knit kit contains one ball of the yarn and a printed copy of the pattern. You'll get full pattern support should you need it.
This kit is not available in my shop Pins & Needles in Devizes but you may of course arrange to pick it up from there to save the postage costs.
