So effective! So easy! Don't be put off by what looks like a complicated pattern, there are a lot of instructions but once you get going it's very intuitive and you almost won't need to look at it. As with all the patterns we sell, we offer full support anyway if you need a bit of leg-up with it.
Can be made with any yarn you like, the sample shows DK but your squares will just be bigger or smaller if you use different yarn (and appropriately sized needles) and you make the blanket as big as you want anyway. Self-striping yarn is effective and saves you having to change colour. We've seen some gorgeous versions made in hand-spun natural sheep fleece.
You need about 250g of DK yarn to make the pram blanket, about 450-500g will give you a blanket that doesn't quite cover the top of a double-bed sort of size.....
