This is basically a pattern for the square motif that I used to make this floaty summer top. I give little instructions for how many you'll need or how to join them together as I leave that entirely up to you! I'm always very happy to help though if you need a bit of support.
I would suggest this design is for a crocheter with some experience of different stitches; mainly it uses common ones but there are a couple of instructions that are a little more advanced - you'll need to be able to follow the written instructions.
You can use any yarn you like (with an appropriately sized hook) but the main beauty of this top is the glorious shimmering colour of the Adriafil Vice Versa, which is the yarn I used. If you did the same size as me (about a UK 14-16, see pics for reference), you'd need six balls of Vice Versa. I have Vice Versa for sale in my shop Pins & Needles in Devizes and can arrange to post it out if wished. You may also choose to put some beads on the bottom, as I did.
This is a printed copy of the pattern that I can post out (choose "small letter" at checkout) or you can collect from Pins & Needles; if you can't get to the shop but don't want to pay postage then choose "collect" but send me a message to say you'd like to receive it by e-mail and that's what I'll do.
