I'm hosting and tutoring an two-part course to crochet a hexi-cardi (or jumper).
The cost of the course is £30 which gets you your tuition on both days, some practice yarn, written instructions, 10% off your choice of yarn and needles, and yummy refreshments for both days. Part 2 is scheduled for Wednesday 24th June but if you can't make that, we might be able to make other arrangements. You will need to do some homework in between sessions!
You'll also need to bring a 4mm hook with you, and whatever size hook you'll need to make your finished item - 4mm for DK, 5mm for Aran or 6mm for chunky.
Ideally you'll visit my shop (Pins & Needles in Devizes) ahead of this first workshop so you can choose the yarn you'd like to make your cardi/jumper in but you can leave this until after the first workshop if you like. There are lots of yarns to choose from, from budget-friendly to luxury - it can be as cheap & cheerful or as luxurious as you want to make it.
Whilst you'll get lots of help, this isn't for complete beginners - you will need to know how to work basic stitches - trebles particularly. Places are limited to six people, to ensure you get the support you might need.
We will meet upstairs at Caffe Vialottie in Devizes, ready to kick off at 1pm prompt on Wednesday 10th June, until they kick us out at 4pm. Of course you can break whenever you want!
Cancellation policy: If I have to cancel, you'll get a full refund and an opportunity to buy the "ingredients" to have a go on your own if you wish. If you cancel, sorry but I can only issue a refund if the course is full and I can re-sell your place. If you do cancel, you will still be able to buy a pattern and yarn etc to make a jumper at your leisure.
You can book your place online or you can come into Pins & Needles and pay in cash (can't take a card payment for this course). There aren't actually any tickets, I keep a guest list, so choose "pick up" at checkout if you book online so you aren't charged the postage (if you forget, let me know and I'll refund any postage charges immediately).
