Originally planned for a session with our spinning wheels, this event is open to all - bring your wheel and some fluff and spin away the evening in good company. Don't have a wheel? Who cares? Bring yourself and some knitting or crochet and spend the evening in good company! Want to come with your pal who doesn't spin, knit or crochet? That's fine, they can bring a book! Or their needlework, whatever really!
I'll be bringing along a drop-spindle and some fluff if you'd like to have a go with it. I'll also bring some fluff of various varieties for you to have a look-see and buy - from washed & combed Jacob tops to mohair or merino or mixed colourful blends.....
Cost is £5 per person which includes a contribution towards hire of the hall and light refreshments (tea/coffee/squash/cake/biscuits). No need to formally book but it will help me enormously if you can let me know you are coming (or you can book here if you wish) - so I know how many biscuits to bring. Oh, please let me know of any specific dietary requirements you have.
Oh, don't forget to choose "pick up" at checkout so you don't get charged postage (but if you forget and you are charged, just let me know and I'll refund it immediately).
Starting at 6pm and going on until 9pm, come at six or drop in when you like, the event is at Rowde Village Hall, just off the main road through Rowde, just past the George & Dragon pub if you are coming from Devizes direction. Turn into Cock Road and it's just there on the left. There's a good-sized car park. Regular buses stop no more than a couple of hundred metres away (but you'll need to check the times).
