New old stock from my shop Pins & Needles, this is a gorgeous and exciting blend of wool and nettle. Yes, nettle! It's snuggly to feel - the nettle fibres behave a little like silk in the way they feel and the way they take the dye; there are some small slubs throughout and a very subtle heathered look to the colours.
Knits as Aran with a suggested tension of 18sts x 26 rows = 10cm on 5mm needles.
Each 100g skein is approximately 170m of 85% wool, 15% nettle viscose; you will need to wind the skeins into balls before use.
This yarn has been priced at £11.95 for about four years and then at £12.50 for the last two years; I'm glad to offer it here at £10 per skein.
Dyelots are all matching on Traipse and Amble colourways; mixed on Dawdle but if I don't have enough of a particular dye lot to make up your order, I'll contact you and see what you'd like to do.
