Ooh this is an interesting and lovely yarn! It's a lightweight DK for summer tops and floaty accessories. Knits and crochets a dream.
Each 50g ball contains approximately 240m (that's a great metreage for a 50g ball, about twice that of a "normal" DK) of mostly cotton and some recycled nylon - 84%/16% to be precise. So although it contains some man-made fibre, you can console yourself with the knowledge that it's recycled.
I don't have any patterns available for this (they all sold out) but you can download them direct from Lang Yarns (some examples shown here). I have a copy of the pattern for the crochet wrap that I will include with my compliments. You can use other DK patterns though, it works to a standard DK tension but of course we strongly suggest you check your tension before embarking on a large project. Suggested needle sizes 3.5-4mm.
I've had to take this yarn out of my shop Pins & Needles in Devizes to make room for new stuff; there's more left of some colours that others. I might get it back in to the shop one day but it would be at the full price, which is around £11, we had it for sale at £10.25 but that was a good while ago now. Take the opportunity to buy yourself some really nice yarn for a summer project.
Oh, it's great for folk who want to avoid wool for whatever reason.
You may of course arrange to pick up your order from Pins & Needles to avoid paying postage.
The names of the colours are ours, not Lang's, just to help identify them.
