Another new-old-stock yarn from my shop Pins & Needles in Devizes, Cenerentola is really lovely blend of alpaca, ombre, and sequins! Each colourway gentle shades from light to dark and back again, with a sprinkling of the tiniest sequins you've ever seen, for a subtle shimmer. It has a soft halo. It's a yarn that really has it all!
Each 50g ball contains approximately 150m of 42% superfine alpaca/34% cotton/23% polyamide/1% polyester. Hand wash only.
Adriafil suggest 3.5mm needles which makes it a sportweight but it would also knit to a DK tension (giving a lightweight finished fabric). It also works well on smaller needles/hooks to a 4ply tension, which gives a denser finish.
I can't remember how much this was on the shelves for in the shop but it seems to retail at anywhere between £5 and £9 at the moment (it's worth the top end). However, it was most recently in a sale event at my place for £4 per ball, so that's what it is here. A total bargain for such a lovely yarn.
This yarn is not in my shop in Devizes but you may, on ordering, arrange to collect it from there to save you the postage.
