Aliens & Crop Circles (take iv)! We've tried to arrange this a number of times and failed, so this had better work!
Come to Pins & Needles and either knit an alien or crochet a crop circle..... they'll be used to decorate our summer themed window and then when the aliens are ready to leave, they'll fly off to Crazy About Knitting in Melksham who will distribute them to children who will love them (hospitals, trauma centres, orphanages, disaster zones etc) or they'll be sold to raise funds to Bath RUH Cancer Centre. The crop circles will be joined together to make blankets for the same causes.
We'll provide the materials, you just need to bring 3.25 or 3.5mm knitting needles or a 4mm crochet hook, a sewing-up needle and some scissors.
The plan is to sit outside the shop in the lovely warm June sunshine but if that fails, we have room for a few inside, the rest of you will have to decamp to a coffee bar or pub!
Make sure you are dressed for June, whether that's a top coat or sunscreen. If you have a picnic chair, that might be useful. Bring any drinks or snacks you might want although of course we are very well served just a few steps away with all the coffee bars, cafes and pubs in the Market Place.
No need to book but it'll be helpful if you say you are coming, just so we know. There's no charge.
