La Santa's rolling waves were the inspiration for the name, that of a tiny Spanish fishing village where you can sit on the harbour wall and watch the great big Atlantic rollers. Originally designed as a workshop for the Woolly Weekender knitting and crochet retreat, this design is for the crocheter with a little experience. You only need to know basic stitches but you do need to be able to follow the instructions and understand what needs to be done.
La Santa takes just one 100g ball of chunky, designer Vixter used King Cole's Corona which is super-soft with long colour changes - it's these colour changes that help to show up the stitch pattern.
You will also need a 6mm crochet hook.
This pattern can be posted out as a small letter. If you would like to save paper and postage, click "pick up" at the checkout and say that you would like it to be e-mailed to you.
