This is a very easy scarf, styled here in a colourway that will suit those folk who don't want their clothes to draw attention but who still wish to look stylish, whilst being cosy. If you prefer a bit more colour, there are about 16 different colourways to choose from in this yarn, which was King Cole Sprite "Tuscany." It's been discontinued, we have a few balls left in stock (please ask) but you can use ANY yarn you like. Instructions are given in the pattern to work it with a different yarn, it's very easy to make a substitute.
Basically, if you use a standard DK, you will need about 200g or 600m to make a scarf the same size as our sample.
I don't really claim this as an original design, it's just a stitch worked over a number of chains, but I have put together the pattern which I hope is easy enough for beginners.
You will also need a 4mm hook or other suitable size of hook for a substitute yarn.
We will post out the pattern as a small letter; if you'd like it sooner we can e-mail it to you, simply choose "pick up" at the checkout and we will e-mail it.
Please note, the second photo is added for fun, our mannequin Six-Pack Steve went off round town for a photo shoot, he's seen here having fun at Times Square in Devizes, you will NOT be purchasing a slice of the cake ;-)
