An easy little wreath with no complications. I've styled it here so the flowers look like poinsettias but if you make them in cream, apricot and shades of pale pink they look just like Christmas Roses. Have fun, that's what matters!
You'll need some oddments of DK yarn in red, bottle green and yellow, about 20g of white sparkly DK and some oddments of gold metallic yarn (about a 4ply). You'll also need a length of gold ribbon, a macrame ring or round bag handle about 13cm diameter and a 4mm hook. Also a pair of scissors and a wool sewing needle.
It's fairly easy crochet but you do need to concentrate on the numbers otherwise your ivy leaves might look like oak leaves and your poinsettias like cabbages..... :-D
The finished wreath is about 18cm diameter not including the hanging ribbons.
You can also buy a complete kit for this project.
