That's what Katia say about it! I had this in my shop for sale at £30 per hank, Katia now have it at £34.95. I need this to go so it's now £18 to you lovely people. One hank will make a fantastic snood or scarf. Two would potentially give you a slipover, possibly with a contrast yarn for the cuffs etc. The picture of the scarves shows you how the colour changes work.
Oh, the colour names below are mine, not Katia's - I struggled to find the "real" names as this yarn was pretty much discontinued a while back.
A standard chunky (6mm needles or hooks) with a knitting tension of 16 stitches = 10cm, each 150g hank (that's half as big again as we are used to seeing yarn sold) contains approximately 300m metres (a good length) of 48% alpaca, 27% wool, 25% polyamide.
