A gorgeous pure merino from Katia. It's super soft, machine washable loveliness.
Each 50g ball is approximately 102 metres. Pure wool, made in Italy. The multicolours are printed onto the yarn and it works up into a speckled, multi-tonal effect.
This is not a standard DK but not far off. Katia sugges 4mm-4.5mm needles and 3mm-3.5mm hooks. Suggestion knitting tension is 23sts x 30 rows = 10cm x 10cm. It has a high twist but it's still very bouncy. Katia estimate 11 balls for a medium-sized adult jumper.
New old stock from my shop Pins & Needles in Devizes, I can't remember or find a record of how much it was on sale for in the shop but a quick internet search sees it priced around the world at anything between four and seven Euros or equivalent. It needs to go so I'm offering it here at £3.50 per ball. As a comparison, at the time of writing, King Cole pure merino in solid colours is £5.75 in my shop.
This yarn isn't in the Devizes shop but you may collect it from there to save on postage - choose "pick up" at the checkout.
