This was originally a fun and easy pattern to knit some bunting to celebrate our amazing Queen's platinum jubilee. That's a few years ago now but you can still use the pattern to make patriotic displays; in fact you could decorate the bunting in any way you wish.
It's shown here in DK yarn (King Cole Big Value 50g in French Navy, Red and White) but you can choose other thicknesses as long as you use suitable needles. You'll also need a basic understanding of how to embroider chain stitches and how to crochet a basic chain.
Each individual flag is about 12cm x 13cm.
